Rhinoplasty, or nose lift surgery is done by using customized fabricated silicone prosthesis placed inside the nose above the nasal bone. Before the operation, the aesthetic surgeon have to discuss with you about the details, limitations , benefits, expectations and risks of the operation for the most satisfied results  It is usually performed on an outpatient basis which last for  2 – 3 hours under local anesthesia with sedation.

                                                             

                                                             

                                                             

What to expect after your surgery?

  • An adhesive dressing is placed on the ridge of nose to minimize hematomas and swelling.
  • Swellings are soothed with cooling pads in the first 24 hours which are switched to warm pads in the next 24 hours.
  • There will be bruising and swelling for 7-10 days but all patients completely recover at 14 days.
  •  Wear protective hat or cap for a couple of weeks to protect your nose from sun irritation.
  • Post operative check-up and stitches removal 5 days after surgery at the Aesthetic clinic.
